Colin Beveridge Got a great view of it taking off yesterday from Edinburgh just as my flight vacated the runway after landing... captain told us to look... very nice... appeared quite a complex aircraft though, I'm surprised it's still flyable. I guess we missed one, huh?!

Yes, seen from home. It is visiting Edinburgh for a couple of days and flying around over the city.
A bit of Googling led me to this. It's the same plane.

Where was this? At your home?
And is this by any chance the same aircraft as the one that starred in Where Eagles Dare, especially in the marvellous opening credits? (With the marvellous music by Ron Goodwin?)
