Vote blue, get red?
Conservative Home has a piece on possible Tory support for a minority Labour administration after the next Scottish elections. Brian Monteith, an independent conservative MSP, opposes this plan.
Bob The SNP aren't constitutionally unable to enter a coalition with the Tories, it's just party policy. I suspect if the figures stacked up the right way, this policy might get overturned or overlooked. Just possibly the SNP would prefer to see a Tory-supported Labour administration rather than have to take on government themselves.

Neil Craig I think the SNP must take most of the blame for this. They are constitutionaly unable to enter a coalition with the Tories, despite having pro-growth policies more entrepreneurial than them. In the circumstances if there is to be a Scottish government what else can the Tories do?

andrew duffin Judging by the recent verbal extrusions from the Boy King, if you vote Blue you'll get Red anyway, whether there's a coalition or not.
