Edinburgh North & Leith Hustings in Castle Street

The candidates (well, most of them):

Mark Lazarowicz (Labour) and Iain McGill (Conservative):

Iain McGill was the most convincing candidate but it was interesting to hear Willie Black - a very lucid but totally wrong old-fashioned George Galloway style of socialist. Mark Lazarowicz looked a tad uneasy when Willie was in full flow.

Some gossip: Labour (not LibDem) to win North & Leith and the Conservatives (not LibDem) to win South. Darling to hold Southwest. Postal votes very low. Make of that what you will...

Well, Neil Hudson didn't made it. Edinburgh South LibDemish. You missed the shock at Murraybanks, when the LibDems cheered their 16000 votes in Leith as Labours 17000 where announced. Conservatives weak in Scottland. Still.
