Guido notes that the stamp duty holiday isn't going to benefit many in the southeast of England.

Quite.

But what about Glenrothes?

Apart from one, all the houses in Glenrothes that appear on the first page of your estate agent's link cost under £120,000, so would have been exempt from stamp duty before the recent change in rate. (The one exception costs £295k, and is above the new threshold) - so I'm not quite sure what point you are trying to make!
