The report found that the link to Edinburgh Airport, while more expensive than Glasgow at £256 million, would represent far better value for money than Glasgow.There is of course intense rivalry between the two cities but the eastern suburbs of Glasgow are potentially as accessible to Edinburgh airport as to Glasgow's. Glasgow airport is on the wrong side of the city to be "Scotland's hub".
