The Pendle Council has disciplined one of its staff:
A black dustman has been banned from wearing a St George's Cross bandana because council officials say it could be regarded as racist.The Lib Dems are the largest party on Edinburgh City Council.
The Edinburgh Council flies a Scottish Saltire from the City Chambers.
