Professor Lindsay prefers his brand of failed social engineering to recognising the need for a fresh approach.The "fresh approach" required is the abolition of state education. When that happens, the price in the private sector will fall dramatically as the market expands bringing economies of scale and more competition. Whether there would be a need for Professors of Education is another question....
