Taylor Its a test of MIRV reentry vehicles I would guess that the picture was taken at Kwajalain atoll in the central pacfic.
Its probably a full up test of either the MX ICBM or a Trident SLBM.

dave t Could the Royal Mail not use little MIRVs? Shove each household's mail into a mini-MIRV, launch from the Royal Navy's Trident subs (on loan to Parcelforce) and watch every house in the country explode with joy as they get their mail at 0600hrs every morning without fail....just have to hope that the Ruskies don't try and undermine the monopoly with a few wee sneaky launches of their own!

David Farrer Next time, it might not be a test and with the state of the postal service the T Shirt wouldn't reach you before at least one of those MIRVs had gone off!
