First, let's sue all the lawyers

Ahem. Isn't Tony Blair some kind of lawyer?

There is something inherently dubious about the fact that a lawyer can sue a surgeon for making an error on the operating table but you can't sue your lawyer for bollixing your case - the official reason for this is that being able to be sued would put the lawyer under such immense pressure that he would be unable to give his full attention to the case & might make a fatal error. 
 
I suspect if Parliament had more doctors than lawyers in it this rule would be changed.
